On 4.5 hectares of old concrete factory premises in the Uckermark region, a place is being created that is intended to be exemplary for sustainable, social and culturally diverse living and working together. The project is being accompanied by a research team as part of the Robert Bosch Stiftung’s „Land*Stadt Transformation gestalten“ program. The research team observes the transformation, initiates its own projects and supports the owners in evaluating results. The magazine „Stolper Boten“ (working title, the final name is still being sought) is certainly sometimes about rabbit breeders or fire department festivals, but above all about the people in the area upstream and downstream from Stolpe, who are breaking new ground or reviving the tried and true. The articles report on old farms, new ideas, revived cafés, old challenges and innovative solutions. The special: In the magazine, those who experience the stories write – the residents of the region! And not only write: Photography, illustration and graphics are of course also part of such a paper.
